Howdy,
As we know Tandy 1000 RL sports only a single 8 bit ISA expansion slot.
My question is about ISA raiser cards that can be found on ebay. Could they be used?
Or even de-soldering the existing ISA edge connector and putting in a double or triple stacked one (if they exist). etc

The real question is this: to multiply ISA slot - is there some kind of multiplexing circuit required or is it just as simple as pin to pin connection?

Yes, at least in "normal" PCs it works that way.
Backplanes are also passive: Short on ISA slots? Try this.
