I have noticed something.

Two computers, same version of Win 10 Pro, same firefox, up to date. One at home, other one at work.

My home computer: For example browsing the by hovering over or click on cute pictures in the auction item I'm interested in does not work, to select "watch item" menu does not work, etc but the ebay's upper bar menu works, note that is while in ".ca". When I edit the address by replacing with ".com" then enter to reload, then everything works.

At my work, everything I do with ebay, works with "ebay.ca" perfectly.

So, I knew something had changed in firefox's settings on my home computer for ebay.ca. What do I look for?

Thanks and cheers,

Could be something else as well... such as your security software, DNS server, proxy, etc.

Go into Firefox settings and just reset to default to rule out Firefox. Also clear out your cookies and temporary files.

What about other browsers at home such as Edge or Chrome? Do they work as expected?

Opened chrome and .ca worked perfectly.

Just curious if anyone knows very specific item or two that went "broke" with firefox on this home computer?

Usually when stuff like that happens I just reset the browser to defaults and delete the cookies and temp files, reset the TCP/IP stack if that doesn't fix it, and also clear out the C:\Windows\Temp and C:\Windows\Prefetch folders.

Could even be that you have some file system corruption.

There aren't going to be any user settings specifically for ebay.ca unless you specifically put that page in a special security profile.

Often just deleting the cookies related to the problematic site would be enough. I would try that before I delete all my cookies or reset all browser settings.

It was cookies got caught and someone ate one of them.

Thank you!

My computer is workstation grade using 16GB ECC and Xeon E3-1680 V2, all the storage hard drive and SSD are in GPT format which is multiples of data pointers.
