Well those are the easy explanations, you don't want to read the others 😉

Basically they guide you step by step, if you don't understand some step
feel free to ask, same if some step simply doesn't work for you.

Z:>mount C "C:\DOSBox stuff\MyGame" Thats the mount command i used..

But MY full path is D:\Spill\Settlers2\Settlers2gold\
S2.exe

So i did write Mount D D:\Spill\Settlers2\Settlers2gold\..

Ok, that's fine so far.
Do you remember dos commands? Type "D:" to change to the
d drive (which you just mounted), then type "dir" to see what
files are there. Those should match what is in your
D:\Spill\Settlers2\Settlers2gold
directory.

Yes, good. I got up a list for that folder, all the files.

And what now? 😀

You need some crash course in ms-dos commands mate.

type d: to change to d drive

then type in the command used for starting the game (bat, com, exe are all executable extensions).

E.G. s2.exe or play.bat

So is s2.exe really there? (look at the output of dir)
What means "nothing happened", no message or something?

Try install or setup as well.

sounds like a corrupted executable and a reinstall is a good idea
