I'm having trouble with running Day of the Tentacle in DOSBox 0.65.
The problem arises from DOSBox searching for a .ini file in the CD. Problem is, DOTT doesn't have a .ini file. Could anyone help?

The INI file is created during installation by the setup program. Mount some directory on your hard drive as C, and your CD-ROM drive as D. Go to D: and install the game to the C: drive. Then, run it from there. (All drive letters mentioned in my post are inside DOSBox, not the "real" drive letters).

...Weird. DOTT doesn't install itself onto my hard drive. I place the CD in, open it, run DOTT.EXE, then I have to set up the sound and it runs straight from the CD.
It saves a configuration file in C:\DOTT.CD, IIRC. When you run the game inside DOSBox directly, DOSBox will have mounted the CD as drive C:, which it can't write to.

Oh, there it is. I think I can get it working now, thanks.
