Recently, I have purchased a lot of two used motherboards for cheap (~8 USD), and both are working perfectly, but neither come with any other accessories or cables.
- Asus P5S-B (Socket 7)
- Biostar M7VKQ (Socket A/462 - With an ISA SLOT! Actually the first EVER 462 board I've seen with ISA slots for sale around here).
The P5S-B/P5-99B is highly integrated and needs many different brackets for its components.
The VGA and USB+PS/2 brackets I could salvage from another PcChips motherboard, worked fine!
But the AUDIO unfortunately is different from the one I have for the PC Chips.
In the manual the ASUS Audio bracket has a small PCB with some components, the bracket from the PcChips does not have a PCB, and the pinout is slightly different apparently.
That's a bummer because I really wanted to test it because the chipset is an ESS Solo-1 apparently (which is pretty good for dos afaik).
I couldn't find the pinout either, just the pin orientation in the manual.
Is the PC Chips bracket compatible with this motherboard? The blocked pin prevents me from testing it, I could just remove the blocking and connect it, but without the pinout I'm afraid I could harm some component on the motherboard.
