Potentially yes, im on a quest to make a smallest possible 486/Pentium era PC for gaming, right now playing with PC/102. Im not sure if you can get any smaller than PC102 standard though - if the sound/midi/graphics output will not be at at least S3 Virge GX/Orhpeus card level, then it needs some ISA ports which are quite chunky.
