Back in 1998, I used to have a PC gamepad, but for the life of me, I cannot remember who made it or what it was called.
I am pretty sure it was a lot like the interact PC Powerpad Pro, shown below, but it had a POV hat and a throttle-like slider in the button area.

The attachment Retro-InterAct-PC-Power-Pad-Pro-Game-Controller.jpg is no longer available

I'd really like to track one of those pads down again, so does this ring any bells for anyone?

I wanna say that Saitek did something along those lines, but seems Saitek did a few hundred of other somethings, so probably not that helpful.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I'd say if you crossed that gravis button layout with the shape of the powerpad pro, that would be the pad I'm trying to remember.
I'll see if I can find search up Saitek game pads.
