Hello, I am using DOSBox version 0.65 to run Toonstruck. This game comes in two discs, one for installing and playing the first part of the game and the second the other half of the game. So I had mounted my game folder containing Toonstruck successfully and typed in:
"C:" "cd Toonstrk" and then "TOONSTRK.BAT" and then there appeared the message "Please Insert Disc 1 One". So I have both discs and inserted Disc 1 and as you would expect nothing happens. So is there a way I can get around the CD Detection?
My specs are
Motherboard- Intel Maryville 2 D850EMVR
Processor Type and Speed- Intel Pentium 4 , 2.5 GHz.
Amount and type of RAM- Radeon 9700 Pro (128 MB on the Card) And 512 MB RD.
Sound Board- Creative Audigy
Operating System- Windows XP Home Edition SP2
Game Name- Toonstruck (No idea what version)

  • Now I'm not sure what Video mode or Sound mode I am using.

Are you sure you have all drives mounted correctly? How did you mount the CD?

I think I only have my C: mounted on DOSBox. I haven't mounted the CD though.

You probably need to mount the cd too. That's why the game is complaining.
