Hey everyone. I've been tinkering around with an old Pentium 2 200MHz machine, running DOS6.22 and I'm using CTMouse. However, the sensitivity for everything I'm running is way too darn high and I can't get the /R switch to work properly.
The help file says:

/R[h[v]] Horizontal / vertical resolution: h,v = 1-9, or 0 for auto.
(no value = use default: auto for h, or "as h" for v).

However, no matter how I attempt to type how I think it should work, I can't get it going. I'm wanting to set both values to 3 and I'll adjust from there... Can someone show me the proper usage to do that? Every variation I've tried has kicked back "Error: Invalid Option".

Thanks

Hmmm....so far I never needed to adjust my speed settings with any of the mice that I have while using ctmouse.exe (I load it without any parameters). I mainly use serial and PS/2 mice with my Dos systems. Mine are usually a Logitech or a Microsoft.

What mouse are you using and is it a serial or PS/2?

Hi - I know this is quite old, but I came here looking for the same thing, and ended up figuring it out. The parameter is specified as Rxy. So if you wanted 3,3 you'd use R33. I am using R00 and it is still too fast for me (486DX266).

Good luck!

Just to clarify with an example:
ctmouse /RXY
Where Y is optional and if Y is not specified X is used
So ctmouse /0 will use 0 for both.

I just replaced my ball mouse with a optical one and yeah...even 0 is a bit too fast.
