Hi!

I'm using DOSBox 0.63 with D-Fend 2.0.62 and just managed to get Turrican II to work (a thread in this forum helped me out). It runs fine, but after I finished a level (today it was after 1-1, and yesterday after 2-1) it freezes and nothing happens anymore. And it seems very randomizing when it "decides" to freeze when loading the next level.

What can be the cause of it and how can I fix it?

You might try using a CVS build of DOSBox, which has many fixes added since 0.63.

And I thank you too! I've downloaded one of these versions and T2 seems much more stable (using the cheat to test it i got thru to the end sequence). However, has anyone else found that the final "spaceship" stage is just too fast?!?!? It makes my eyes go funny and i must lose about 20 lives! I tried slowing down the cycles but seemed to make it go too slow so the sprites on the screen would jump instead of scroll. Anyone have any ideas or an optimum setting?

Does anybody have problems getting the game to show the outro after defeating the Machine ?
Last night I was playing it and the game crashed right after I defeated him.
I'm using DosBox 0.65 and the game is the one found at the Underdogs.

😠 I don't know why, but I only get a weird pixel mess when I try to start this game ... . (DosBox 0.65 CVS (latest)) .
