I needed a PSU for bench testing. I pulled out a candidate from my collection but decided to check inside before powering it on.

Glad you checked it ! Yeah that tan color on the caps is a bad sign 😀

Came in for the dead mice and/or live spiders, but I suppose dying caps are pretty scary too.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

Dead and mummified. But not my own PSU, just a PSU at work which required maintenance for some reason 😁
