X-COM: UFO Defense is a DOS game from 1994, so you are presumably playing it in either DOSBox or a VM of some kind under Windows 10 . If DOSBox or the VM solution you are using produces audible sound under Windows but some sounds and/or music are missing in one or more games, the issue is not within Windows 10 audio mixer's purview, but within that of DOSBox or the VM solution or even the game's .

If you are using the the Windows native collector's edition, it's a different story.

I use dosbox, but i think the Globe Musik is allways quiet, so i would change it manually with some kind of Volume Control program.

Is there some?
