Hi everyone,

Just noticed that the new release for Parallels Desktop 17 adds TPM 2.0 emulation for the M1 version.

That's useful for running Windows 11,
but at least to this point not entirely necessary.

Apparently, Windows 11 will detect if run in a VM and will make an exception to the TPM requirement.

Hopefully, this holds true for the final x86-64 version of Windows 11, too.

Anyway, I just thought this might be interesting for some of you.

It seems that running Win 11 in emulation/virtualization will be more
convenient than using it natively.

That way, even 15 years "young" hardware will run Windows 11 smooth as silk.. 😀

Best regards,
