It sort of resembled the Intel Edison as apart from a extraneous board you could only get output through a serial port (or similar). The company made other, larger but small motherboards. The one I'm thinking of was larger then an Edison IIRC. I want to say it used a via or atom, but can't really recall. I also remember the company name struck a cord. as it was used elsewhere (?), but for what exactly I can't recall.

It was definitely an x86 board.

ok, I figured it out already. Many thanks to all that helped 😀

Question is though, because I'm nuts, and am compelled to ask questions, what would be the best means of adding video to such a board? This one excels in 1 area the Edison doesn't, it has a bios I suspect, but has no expansion that I can tell. The edison has a mini pci slot. I think there are a few mini pci cards out there. It's a question of making drivers for it I supposed.

The device I was referring to is a PC Engines (get it) Alix.3d. It uses a Geode.

According to what I'm reading https://www.pcengines.ch/pdf/alix3d3.pdf it's already got VGA on J11, are you seeing a board where it's not populated or there's just a header there?

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

Don't know how I missed that. Can't understand why they didn't provide the connector.

Docs mention Award BIOS, but not a hint of supported OS's. Perhaps it's not quite a pc compatible.

Ok website states WXP compatibility. Along with FreeBSD and a few linux flavas.
