I had that type of I/O card from 1994-2012. The one chip on there is a Winbond (cannot remember the model number), and it's a pretty good I/O card. Also, great haul as well.

My guess is the Sound Blaster CT1350B.

It turned out to be a CT1790 SB16... with YMF262 chip.

Just picked up this lot:

In the upper right hand corner... a Logitech Soundman Wave and an ATI Mach32 VLB 😀

In the bottom middle, I think that is a LBA BIOS card for supporting larger HDDs.

I'll probably try to sell most of the cards except those 3 in order to recoup the cost.

I have the install floppies for a Soundman Wave (and about 20 other early sound cards) but I'll never be able to own any of then thanks to scalpers and power buyers.

I think I did really well over the past weekend. I found a new in box Wave Blaster II. It is marked "GP-1910" with a sticker, but I imagine it's a standard CT1910 inside.

I've given a pretty decent go at finding information about this particular SKU, and the only images I can find only of it is a super low-res photo from an old QVC.com listing.

I haven't opened it - yet - as I don't really foresee using it. However, I did scan the box for posterity.

Ehhh.. Somebody posted up that lot and didn't really know what they had. I also gave a "best offer" and they accepted.

Most of the more rare stuff I have, I have gotten for pretty cheap.

You just have to keep an eye out for good deals.

I've accumulated tons of duplicates of a lot of cards without even trying. I am going to be thinning out the duplicates (most not rare cards) in the not too far future.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve with this whinge campaign - so you can't afford stuff, what do you want us to do about it? Man up and accept it or find something within your control to get angry about.

had another nice haul today, and came across this. Orchid TurboEGA.. never ever seen one of these in the wild before. ribbon cable goes down to the CPU socket on a 5160. Card has an ~8mhz 286 cpu + original 8088 (you can toggle it for compatibility) and an 287. integrated EGA and some cache memory.

Nice find - I bought one a couple of years back but, it only came with Nascar Racing.
Would be interesting to know which "special" versions of those games are on that CD. I imagine just the Shareware versions.

Never owned a Matrox and since I already have a dedicated DOS machine with S3 Virge, I've decided that one decelerator is quite enough 😀. Might be not that exciting for many here, but I couldn't be happier.

Received this beauty a few days ago in the original OEM package. Was listed as Mystique 220, but I can't find any labels to confirm (that it is not a 200). Will pair it with Diamond Monster 3D 4mb in 233MMX.

Based on part number (644-00) model number (MYST/4G) and info from http://www.512bit.net/matrox.html and http://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/component … sg-mystique-220 it probably is a Mystique 220 4MB.

(edit) the chip is MGA1064SG which is from the original Mystique, not Mystique220 though. Maybe Mystique factory-overclocked? There is a card with this chip listed as Mystique220 on the second page I linked above. But then again there are 2 cards identical to yours at http://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/cards/ite … 1064sg-mystique that are listed as Mystique (not 220).

...Cool looking boxes, but I left them there. 🙁 I have no real interest in messing with this platform or VMS, and these seemed REALLY heavy for their size (and they're not small!) I hurt my wrist in a bike accident a couple weeks ago and had trouble even picking one of them up. Can't take it all.

🤣 those were factory underclocked. The slowest Alpha made was 150MHz, the 21064-AA. According to the system manual http://paleoferrosaurus.com/documents/Alpha_S … XP/d3syspmb.pdf it's indeed the 150MHz AA chips that were used in those, clocked under specs...

The Alphas I had were absolutely huge, always wanted a nice little one. A Multia would be best (or one of stamasd's ATX boards), but something that could pass for a regular desktop PC (at least until you try to lift it) would be a lot better than nothing. My wrist's also a bit weak after slipping on the stairs recently damn, this sort of accident makes you feel old but where there's a will, there's a way.

Tomorrow I hope to post something pretty nice here too, so can't complain. It should be worth the 4-hour round trip. At least I really hope so 😜

I would have snapped that up if I collected non x86 stuff still. Lovely board for a nice price from the most reliable source I know 😀
