now that i finally got to circumvent the cd-check in actua soccer, heres the next proeblem: the game stutters like hell, unplayable! cant turn up more the cpu cycles, theres no effect... neither with frameskip..

my system:
athlonxp 2Ghz
512 mbram
radeon 9600
creative aureon pci/fun

is there a way to get the game to run faster/smoother?
i once heard of something like "protected mode".. but whats that?
