Dear All,

Looking for some advice on which of these cards should I pair with my P200 MMX (I have both sitting around). Thank you!

The Lightspeed will probably perform better with DOS and Windows 2D games, but the Nitro supports some hardware 3D acceleration, although with a P200MMX you may be better off just using software rendering.

Thanks devius. I'm planning to use it mostly for DOS gaming, so guess the Lightspeed is the way to go.

Either one should be fine for DOS.

In DOS games, ET6000 has the ultimate speed, but considering the compatibility of DOS games and the acceleration of Windows GUI, I think STB Nitro 3D/GX 4MB is a better choice.

Are you sure that STB Lightspeed 128 has 2.25 MB?
I only saw it with 2 MB - and that means no 1024 x 768 x 24bpp mode.

It doesn't list 1024 x 768 x 16.7M modes...

But OK, I've found this page - https://wiki.preterhuman.net/STB_Lightspeed_128
There are photos of two variants:
2 x MD908 = 2 MB
2 x MD909 = 2.25 MB
