First time Posting!

Decided to get into retro PCs a couple months ago and I'm having a blast so far. Currently working with a old HP Pavilion a706n with ASUS motherboard Athlon XP 3000+ with via km600 chipset. I picked up a SBL sboo6o to run dos sound. I install MSDOS 6.22 to a msata 16gb drive (msata to 44pin board with 44pin to SATA adapter) to see if it would work. This is not the plus south bridge so only sata 1 speed drives work. Almost everything works great minus two issues.
Primary issue is in any game with mouse controls if I press two directional buttons and click the mouse at the same time one of the directional keys will "stick". I've tried a few different mouse drivers. I've tried a few changes in config.sys and nothing seems to fix this. The keyboard works fine under MSDOS 7.1 under windows 98 and 98. The issue is there no matter which of my keyboards I've attached. Can't find anywhere about a fix or work around?
Second is is I can't seem to figure out versa 2.0 support to run higher resolutions in MSDOS 6.22 with the Unichrome S3 onboard igpu?

Thanks!

Update:

I disabled ps/2 mouse completely in the bios settings, connected cheap USB mouse on Microsoft Mouse Drivers 9. This seems to have corrected the issue at least I unable to reproduce the problem. Seem the bios is causing issues in MSDOS. Does anyone have any hints on where to start looking for what is causing this conflict?

Update 2
I disabled all other on board irqs slots. Using original mouse starting having crashes when loading exes . I borrowed an older PS2 Micron mouse. Everything works fine. Somehow even able to increase resolutions now as well. Seems the V7 mouse was some how sending signals to other irqs inside of MSDOS 6.22. Never seen this before and this is only a guess. Would anyone know how to monitor live irqs request within MSDOS?
