What have I to do to get DosBox with 1280 Revulution and VESA runnig.
What changes i have to made in my dosbox.conf ?

Have i to download additional driver or dll ?

Mekon get the error message:

you would need to specify the things more clearly
which resolution is needed. high resolution is too vague.

The cvs you use of ykhwong has some 16 bit support. but no 32 bot

It sounds like he's trying to get 1280x1024 (or maybe 1280x960?) VESA working, although I'm not sure which bit/color depth.

If it is really some "old" program I would not expect it to require 32-bit color. My suggestion is to try ykhwong's build, use svgachipset=et4k or svgachipset=et4knew, load TLIVESA 1.1 or UNIVESA and see if that works. The second variation of chipset supports 1280x1024x16. DOS CAD programs often required high resolution but not that many colors so this might just work. The only issue is that the screen will appear broken after loading TLIVESA in "et4knew" case -- that's normal, it is a bug in TLIVESA.

Hi,

tired diffrent videodrivers but dose not have the effect 🙁

On the Mekon Config is a entry with SET GDI_DRV=SVAGA256
SET GDI_MODE=VESA1024

Maybe that one will help a bit ..

Thanks

Peter

Not sure what you mean about videodrivers. Did you try ykhwong's build? From those settings it looks like Mekon requires 1024x768x256 mode, supported by Tseng ET4000 chipset in ykhwong's build. You will have to load DOS VESA TSR -- Tseng specific is TLIVESA.COM (available on ykhwong's website in Data/Util), otherwise use UNIVESA.
