I didn't think it would be this hard to find drivers for this card but I'm at a loss. I believe these are the installation disks (link below). I suspect the installer has to run in Windows, which will then extract and provide the DOS drivers in C:\ISP16. The problem is the installer refuses to work in Windows 95. Here is someone using the drivers https://youtu.be/tadDcNVY8gk?si=bAS9z7BkoANq3dO6. I can see the main exe to initialize the card is in the setup files.

I don't suppose someone would be kind enough to run the setup on their Windows 3.1 install and upload the C:\ISP16 folder?

I ran the installer in a Windows 98 SE VM. It created an ISP16 directory, which I have attached.

The following lines were added to autoexec.bat :
set BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T4
set ISP16=C:\ISP16
C:\ISP16\ispinit /b

What's that "MEDIACHIPS" thing?
"MAD16" suggests some Opti...

Edit: and that "ispinit /b" strangely reminds of Opti's "sndinit /b"...

Thank you so much. I couldn't get it to detect the card though. Unless there is some sys file loaded in config.sys thats needed?

However, it appears I have the older version of this card and require these drivers Re: Looking for information about ISA Media Magic sound card

Any chance I could get a copy of these?

I managed to get the installer working on Windows 98 SE as well. The older version of these drivers got the card working.

Here are the files including config.sys and autoexec.bat files so no one else has to go through this trouble.

Again, looks very similar to the SNDINIT from Opti.
It's likely that generic drivers for Opti 82C929 (or thereabouts) would work as well.

AFAICR

MAD16 should be an Opti 82C928.
MAD16 Pro should be an Opti 82C929
