Hello,
An local second hand auction site (like ebay) i found an strange card
Based on title label that is an Geforce 2 MX400, but with BGA memory moduls! SDR memory!
Card color is gold or very light yellow, not classic yellow PCB

Who is the maker? I never see same like
Maybe Prolink or PixelView or something fake SIS 600 vga?

The attachment gf2 mx400 bga sdr.jpg is no longer available

That is a really interesting combo. If you can get your hands on the card, I would love to know more.
I have never seen BGA memory modules with anything slower than 3.6ns access time - which would be quite good for a GF2 MX400, no?

So the card arrived, PCB is shiny.. like glitter, never see same like ever. Maybe extreme rare high expensive brand made same...but never on low grade WOW.
It is Geforce 2 MX400 NV11B fully not an lowgrade MX4000 NV18B
(maybe MX400 NV17 and MX4000 NV18B pin compatible?)
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nvidia-nv11b.g338
Maybe B3 rev

Memory BGA 4MX32T1
Maybe Micron I don't know. Internet: Starram Samsung?
Memory ICs Left down corner delted with laser. Looks like try to delete "M" marking..maybe
Caps wrong.. i have to change before start (of corse soldering iron goes wrong now 😁 )

Sometimes colored lights show erased or badly faded stuff more strongly, on labels too. So if you've got any RGB stuff that has a cycle or throb mode, where it goes through the different colors, hold it close to that, see if anything pops out clearer with a particular color.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

No idea on the brand, but I did find a couple similar cards for sale on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/154764654312 and https://www.ebay.com/itm/285950726683

A GF2 and a GF4, and the GF2 is from a place called "Soltek", but neither use BGA VRAM.

Not sure if this helps, but it seems other cards like it do exist. 😀

I've got it marked down as a Mad Dog Champion MX400

https://theretroweb.com/expansioncards/s/mad- … pion-mx-400-agp

I found it in a Dell Dimension 4100, but it looks like an after market upgrade.

Harakhti on discord pointed me to an ebay auction of a card that had this label:

Unfortunately they only have pictures of the box on wayback machine
