I bought the SC-8850 for around 150 dollars. Did I get it for the reasonable price?

The answer is relative my friend 😅
Turbo XT 12MHz, 8-bit VGA, Dual 360K drives
Intel 386 DX-33, Speedstar 24X, SB 1.5, 1x CD
Intel 486 DX2-66, CL5428 VLB, SBPro 2, 2x CD
Intel Pentium 90, Matrox Millenium 2, SB16, 4x CD
HP Z400, Xeon 3.46GHz, YMF-744, Voodoo3, RTX2080Ti
You mean that the price depends on the condition of the product, right?
If it is correct, I bought a product that looks so bad.
Really depends on your usage plans. If you want to make music, it's a decent box. If you plan to just play games, I feel an 88 Pro is the better choice.
CM-64, CM-500, SC-55MkII, SC-88 Pro, SY22, TG100, MU2000EX, PLG100-SG, PLG150-DR, PLG150-AN, SG01k, NS5R, GZ-50M, SN-U110-07, SN-U110-10, Pocket Studio 5, DreamBlaster S2, X2, McFly, E-Wave, QWave, CrystalBlaster C2, Yucatan FX, BeepBlaster, SuperOctet!
Prices for that often range from $150 to well over $300, depending on who is selling it and what condition it is in. I've never seen a listing for one that didn't offer a product that wasn't "heavily used", so I don't know if you got it for a "reasonable price", as I'm not familiar with the offering from the seller that you purchased it from. That being said, it's a music machine and not something you'd use for games, but the hardware you would use for games has reached the point where it's breaking down and is becoming non-functional due to wear and tear and aging circuit/electrical components that need replacement.

No I meant different people value things differently. Your source of value told you it's worth it, somone else might not want to pay a penny for it, and another would pay double the price to get it.
To get an idea on the landscape of pricing, check eBay's sold listings. See how many sold at the ask price.. as you can't tell how offer sales ended up at.
I myself am not familiar with the 8850, but I got my 55mk2 from a local seller on FB for 160CAD and it's clean and working.
