Hello,

I'm getting old and I can't solve a (stupid?) issue about VooDoo2 cards in DOS.

Tried 5 different Voodoo2 cards on three different systems (P100 PCI, P2 333 AGP, K62-450 PCI) using four different main VGA cards (S3 PCI, Rage II+ PCI and AGP, Matrox Millennium PCI)

In pure DOS I get a sort of scrambled color issue:

No problems using Voodoo1 cards.
No Windows test for now (I don't have a Windows ready PC to do the job)

Thank you,

Andrea

I believe that for Voodoo2 you need to use the Rush patch, not the same as with a Voodoo1. Have you tried this?

It seems not (I also tried more games), but you put me on the right way.

To make it work it is needed to add the following environment variables:

SET SST_GRXCLK=90
SET SST_FT_CLK_DEL=0x4
SET SST_TF0_CLK_DEL=0x6
SET SST_TF1_CLK_DEL=0x6
SET SST_VIN_CLKDEL=0x1
SET SST_VOUT_CLKDEL=0x0
SET SST_TMUMEM_SIZE=2

Thanks for helping!

Andrea
