I found a Russian Program called TNT Edit but everytime i download Windows defender goes nuts does anyone know of a good program to use or if that one is safe?

Background is my ASUS Riva TNT2 Pro has started to have it's ram fail at the rated 166mhz, i get random purple dots but they go away at 160mhz, i stress tested for 24 hours and no dots, so I want to flash the card down to 160mhz from 166, while I can do this with coolbits i want a more permeant solution until I feel confident replacing the SDRam on the card myself.

So what do yall recommend or is this TNT Edit program safe

The program is ok.
I'd say to use it on a win98 machine will avoid issues
