In my DOS-PC's I use an Ide driver to get a 32-bit entrance to the hard drive instead of the usual 16-bit. I have made 4 partitions on the hard drive from C: to F:. In Windows 3.11 I can see that all the partitions have the 32-bit entrance.
I use SHSUCDHD.EXE to create a virtual CD-drive to play a game like SimCity2000 without the CD. Therefore I create an ISO-file which I put on the F: drive. After having installed the virtual CD-drive the F:drive loses its 32-bits speed and goes back to 16 bit. You can see that on the screenpicture below (shows the Dutch version of Windows 3.11). When I do the same procedure on partition E: the result is the same for that partition. Does anybody know about this issue and can I maintain the 32-bit entrance in combination with the virtual CD-drive?
