Check the memory sockets and try to clean them with an IPA soaked piece of cardboard.
Memory problems can be caused by the modules as well as by the socket.
BTW. the 365 is a really nice machine. I upgraded a single PPro server 315 with the board of a 365.

pc365 required EDO Ram in DIMM format, not the regular PC100/133 SDRAM.

100% this. here is a quick and dirty manual: http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/commercial_desk … op/s84h0334.pdf page 5

Thankfully, a ePay search for "EDO DIMM" gives a lot of results and most are moderately priced.

The attachment pc365_memory.png is no longer available

Be thankful that IBM didnt use special snowflake ram that they used on prior systems.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I can also confirm needing the EDO dimms. I ran into that with my own PC365 when I was looking at other memory options when I was troubleshooting the original motherboard (wound up being dead and found a replacement). I was lucky though in that mine came with 64mb of ram so in the end I didn't wind up having to buy any since the issue was the board itself.

What are you planning to run on yours?

There are some other machines using the same type of memory.
Namely the Compaq Proliant 800/850r and the Netserver LHpro.
Both are dual PPro systems same as the PC365.
Especially bigger modules like 128 MB are hard to find and expensive.
I might have some 32 MB spares, if you are located in Europe.

Be careful not to grab the buffered ones from the Proliant 2500/5500(R).
These are dual/quad PPro as well, but use different chipsets.
