Hi there, I've got an issue with a modem... I have a Panasonic TD816 PBX setup for local dialup internet access, and have a system setup to act as a dialup server connected to the first extension (101) so that I can dial in from another extension. I have dialed it and successfully connected from my Latitude C610. However, when I dial from my IBM PC365 (setup with a US Robotics Sportster 33.6k) it has dialtone, dials the extension but then as soon as it rings it disconnects saying the line is busy. Now, with this pbx when dialing another extension it does a double ring which I am suspecting is being recognized as a busy signal.
So... I guess my question is: Does anyone know how to make this thing not disconnect because of the ring or have it ignore a busy tone? If it matters, the IBM is running Windows 95C and the Dell is running 98SE. I have tried it with the Distinctive ring option checked as well and it made no difference.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
