Somewhere I have a collection of KYRO BIOSes...until now they didn't make it to my PowerVR page (-> https://soggi.org/video-cards/powervr.htm) where the PowerVR KYRO / KYRO II BIOS updates will be put on some time in the future... I did a fast search then.
Hercules itself didn't offer any BIOS update on their FTP f.e., but there are reference BIOSes from PowerVR. Version 1.02.00.0029 is available here: https://web.archive.org/web/20050206131512/ht … =downloads#bios.
When you flash the BIOS, backup the old one which you want to replace - just in case!
kind regards

Hello. Is it safe to apply a reference bios on a 4000 XT card? I have a working 4000 XT 32MB AGP and another 4000 XT 32MB AGP which isn´t providing signal to the monitor. I have changed the 3 1000uF 6.3v cap, they were bulging and have lower than half the capacitance. I changed the caps, before trying it, but no signal. Can this be corrupted vbios, or the other 9 small 22uF 10v capacitors are possibly wrong to?
