I have been trying tooth and nail to get this setup working. Voodoo 2 SLI primarily for Glide games and for Direct X 6 and lower titles and the ATI 9800 for Direct X 7- 9.

So without further ado,
this is what happens with a ATI 9800 pro on CCC 3.7 and Voodoo 2 on fastvoodoo 3.5.
installs, however when trying to access display properties am greeted by a 3DFX DLL error. Once I click OK the panel will open but the voodoo 2 tab is gone. Everything else including ATI's tabs are there and functioning. I have Tried using v2 tweak, it seemed to take the settings, tried running unreal, it saw the voodoo 2 but once you click play it attempts to initialize glide, and opens the render window to then hang and pretty much make windows 98se brain dead forcing a hard reset.

Tried fastvoodoo 4.6, display properties works, all tabs present and settings take , but any attempt to run a glide game results in the same issue, attempts to open the render window and hangs.

I have tried searching old forums on this topic to find very very dead tutorial links on how to do it........

So I am posting this here in hopes someone has done this and remembers how to make it work.

I don't have DLL errors, but when I pair my 9600XT with two V2's on a fast Tualatin system, 3Dfx games just won't launch. Either they immediately close or they keep running (without any output) and the system gets visual corruption (for example, when opening the start menu).

The only driver that works for me is Koolsmoky's 2005 release of the V2 drivers. He later updated those in 2010, but I was never able to get them to work.

Drivers attached.
