Early Direct3D games are probably the safest option IIRC. The thing's known to have some real affine issues with regards to textures. Try Jedi Knight (which should not have any blending issues as it's all vertex color modulation and 1-bit alpha blends)

DOS has some issues with 5464 in particular.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

I recently got this card and I started testing. I started with drivers 2.0 and 3D Mark 99 but not very good, almost no textures shown, just few test actually shown some picture. At least test didn't crash and passed 😉 Probably I will try also older 1.7 drivers.

So I did some testing. I tested GD5465 AGP 4MB
At the end, in 640x480 3D Mark 99 looked well and passed. I tested also Final Reality benchmark, Tomb Raider 2, Unreal and Midtown Madness, everything works. But not even Midtown Madness in 320x240 I consider playable 😀 Unreal in 640x480 runs pretty well because lighting does not work 😀
Anyway, I don't want this card for performance but because it is interesting piece of history.

I tested on my Windows 98 Pentium III 1,2GHz test bench with 2.0 drivers. I like this platform for testing historical graphic card because quite powerful and has AGP universal which can handle these early AGP cards same as latest AGP cards (only at AGP 4x but works).
