I've installed nusb drivers 3.6 for Win98SE. If I only install those, my Sandisk Cruzer Blade doesn't even get detected. If on top of that I install the ICH7 Intel 82801 USB2 driver, then the pendrive gets detected, but only when I go to device manager and click refresh.

Similarly if I only install the intel drivers, then again the pendrive isn't detected. Basically, both nusb and Intel drivers are needed. The trouble is, even after that if I insert the pendrive, it doesn't get autodetected and automounted as a partition. This only happens after the device manager manual process.

Any idea on how to fix this? The motherboard is GA-G41MT-ES2L.

Curious what size pendrive is it ? This is def a Win98SE issue. Nice seeing a late model soc 775 micro board with a floppy connection 😀

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
