how do you get this to work with dgvoodoo2 everytime i start up the game i get black all over the screen and i can’t see the colour also my game crashes a lot as well i have done notepad stuff and no cd but nothing seems to work also i am trying to play the game in 1920×1080

I just gave it a go and had no problems with it. I downloaded the RIP version, copied ddraw.dll and d3dimm.dll (from WIP96 but the latest stable should be fine as well) and it just ran.
(aside from double cursor problem which can be cured with option GeneralExt\SystemHookFlags = cursor set)
Does the dgVoodoo logo appear for you?
