Hi, I found an ATI video card that I want to restore, but some capacitors are damaged. I’ve marked the physically damaged capacitors in the attached picture. Based on my observations, the rectangular ones appear to be tantalum capacitors, while the round ones are electrolytic. According to the markings, they are all rated at 16V 22μF.
Can I replace all of them with https://industrial.panasonic.com/ww/products/ … dels/20TQC22MQD capacitors? These are the most readily available to me and seem suitable in terms of characteristics. However, I’m unsure about the mix of electrolytic and tantalum capacitors. Is there a specific reason for this mix, or would it be acceptable to replace all of them with tantalum capacitors?
Thanx!
