When I learned that it was an analog display I bought a 970 to drive but still doesn't work monitor displays fine but for some reason it keeps turning off and then back on sometimes the image flashes. Is it just me or is there actually something wrong with the monitor.https://imgur.com/a/9RBIhbM

If it's analog controls, tap the brightness and contrast wheels/knobs if it flashes or cuts out then, they are either badly oxidised or have bad solder joints. Even if it's not them, odds are for on/off type behaviour it's a bad joint somewhere.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
