Hello! I have two sound blaster pci cards and in both of them i have a strange problem in dos games under windows98.
For some reason the digital audio starts to stutter getting like noisy or just kinda garbled. This happens with descent 2 and mechwarrior 2. In x-wing collector cd rom this happens randomly sometimes i enter the game and runs great and sometimes starts to stutter.
I used two different drivers, one is those from phil computer labs ''audigy_2_zs_drivers_for_sound_blaster_live'' and other times i tried a cd-rom that works with my card. I have no idea what can be causing this. i tried formating the system multiple times as well.
I changed the irq and interrupt values as well and no luck. Anyone had some problem like this? thank you!
