How do I temporarily remove or uninstall the default mouse driver? Playing Elder Scrolls I can't attack anything, so I'm guessing I need to install the drivers that come with the game.

elder scroll arena, I think it's most likely to be an issue with my mouse since it's not exactly a 'normal' mouse.

Maybe I'm just an idiot and I'm hitting the wrong button? But I've pressed nearly every button on the keyboard and mouse.

Yea, I checked the manual I have it here in front of me..but I don't remember where I got it. It says the right mouse button attacks, but the game just acts like I didn't do anything.

Like, can you attack anywhere? If I press 'A' then the attack button(RMB?) it's supposed show an animation of my character swinging the sword of fists or whatever? Or do I have to connect with an object?

Also, is there an input section is dosbox.conf or similar that I'm overlooking? Or maybe a config file for arena?

You are supposed to move mouse when attacking in Arena/Daggerfall to simulate sword swings...
IMHO it is stupid, but it is like that - the game designers tried to be originall...

Yep, Daggerfall and Battlespire use the same attack system. I think they changed it in Morrowind because it would be hard to replicate on a console controller.
