I have a very nice Slot 1 machine in an old Siemens OEM Case. For a very very long time I've been looking for a slotket to expand upgradability. Unfortunately I've hit a roadblock, I can't seem to overcome. Maybe the experts here on the forum could share their insights:

Are there any slotkets with Coppermine-Support that are (this is very important) not taller than 6,5 cm (~2,5 inches)?

The PSU and its shroud won't allow anything taller to fit. And 6,5 cm is the absolute maximum with only a hair of a tolerance 🙁 I can't even put back the retention clip on the cpu then^^

I'd really like to look for one with specific model numbers, because they are not too hard to find here (the EU) but either they are 7 cm or taller and/or only support Mendocinos 🙁

Changing the case would be painful, because it is the original I have found with this system. So it would be difficult for me, but if all else fails, I'd consider it.

Lowest I have to hand is the MSI MS-6905 Master v2.x which is 67mm from the base of the slot 1 pins to the top of the card. Unfortunately it's one of the most sought after, with prices to match.

Any chance you could move the psu up slightly by enlarging the screw holes?

I think I had a MS-6905 in there and it barely fit with an uncomfortable amount of force coming from the psu 😖 Moving the PSU up a bit is "tricky" to quote Deep Thought... it is not only held in by screws, but by a sliding mechanism, too. I think I'll have to switch the case after all :'-(
