Hi,

I'm in search for a compatible replacement switch for a Logitech C7 1987 mouse.
The part label is OMRON D2F-01L83, but I cannot find it anywhere.
There is only OMRON D2F-01L (Simulated Roller Lever Microswitch), but it has a different, incompatible type of lever.

Anyone happen to know if such a replacement exist?
Thanks.

P.S. It is possible to replace it with a standard 6x6x9.5 tactile mouse button, but I would like to retain original "mechanical feel".

Are you sure the switch is the issue itself and not the solder joints underneath it? It's unlikely, but give those a careful inspection just in case.
If you're sure it's the switch(es), you may be able to refurbish/fix them. If the contacts are inside the switch, there should be two plastic latches on the sides of the switch that allow you to open its top. I do that with the "regular" mouse switches to clean the contacts when they start acting up. So far, I've been able to restore just about every one... though if you live in a humid environment, this "fix" doesn't always last. It really depends on the switch quality, frequency of use, and the way you use it too (i.e. if you love to "pound" the switches hard when you click on them, then they will have a shorted life.)

Well, actually, the picture is for reference (those are, indeed, working fine 😀 )
I'm working on a replica, for a friend.

Switches without a lever make a button stroke too short.
And standard lever of D2F-01L is the other way around.
IDK, maybe those levers were custom made for a standard D2F-01L
