I just thrifted some CH Pro Pedals and noticed that it has an area in the plastic for a switch that says CAR / PLANE, however there is no switch nor a hole for one. From the CH Products website it says that the Pro Pedals feature "Locking rudder axis for gas/brake emulation for racing games". Does anyone know how this feature was supposed to work? Is there any information on which versions of the Pro Pedals have it?

Mine have the same marking and no switch.
As you probably know, when used in flight sim, the pedals provide control of the Yaw axis and pushing the upper part of the pedals provide left and right brakes (differential breaking)
Not 100% sure but I think i read somewhere that the "car" mode is supposed to allow the use of the two pedals as throttle and brake. I don't think the switch will block the yaw axis physically but maybe disable this output and remap left and right brakes to throttle and brakes.
