Hello, i resurrected m'y first motherboard, biostar mb8500tvx-a v2.1. After 25years sleeping it didn't want to start but everything was ok visually. I just had to unfasten the jumpers. Today it starts well but at the ram post there is only 32384kb and not 32768kb. Ram is old EDO with two sticks of 16mo.
Is there any problem ?

I guess no.
That missing 384 kB could be the area between 640 kB and 1 MB (A000-FFFF). It is reserved for video RAM, adapter ROMs and BIOS.

Yes, it is all fine.
That "missing" 384 kB of RAM are also used for shadowing BIOS and video BIOS.

Yes, this is normal.

You have 32768kB comprising of 327144kB extended memory + 640kB conventional memory = 32384kB but also 384kB Upper Memory, which is neither conventional nor extended.

Agreed that it's confusing for it to be shown like this, but c'est la vie.
