Hi.
My problem is not with a Game but with the music i want to compose for a game. To compose i needed an audio card and my budget is not high so... before few months i bought (second hand of course) the EMU APS. Also i bought the 865PE Neo2-P Platinum Edition motherboard.
The card is detected by OS but no sound. OS's i tried so far :
Win95, 98, 2000, Me, Vista, XP, 7, AVLinux MXE, Lubuntu (cant remember the version). I do not had the original setup and app CD, but i found several sources for download the drivers and apps.
I also tried many settings on the BIOS interface, but not all of them because i do not now what all of them is about and i am afraid not to cause a problem.

If you're not familiar with getting old sound cards working, you seem to have chosen one of the more challenging options out there...

Might help to say exactly which driver versions you have been trying, as it's a mess.

Take a look here:
https://www.retrosampling.se/emuaps/emuaps.htm

No downloads (and the links it gives are long dead), but at least an overview of what's available and might work with each OS.

dionb thanks for help.

I already have tried this link. It worked when i had visited it. I have downloaded the drivers. Drivers were installed successfully., card detected, but no sound.

For Windows, each driver version has on its name or in the description the intended operating system. As for Linux we are talking for modules or firmware (in the Kernel).
I have found drivers not only from the above link but from other links too.
