I need a better picture of the whole card if you can do one.
From FCC ID: Is an Aztech/Reveal version 138-MMSN824 which is a Aztech "Pro16i (Washington 16 d/e/f)" or Reveal SC400 R3 variant.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Thanks ! Check this archive: https://archive.org/details/reveal-computer-s … nd-card-drivers
https://ia800208.us.archive.org/8/items/revea … ive%20files.txt
Try these:
"1308037a.zip 1219k sc400 rev3 v1.06 s/c only
1308037b.zip 1253k sc400 rev3 v1.06 s/c only
1308037c.zip 169k sc400 rev3 v1.06 s/c only"
You really should only need the first zip for the DOS drivers, the other two are for Windows 3.x

Crystal CS4231

Thx. Ill check if i can find a driver for it.

Don't - that's the CODEC chip, not the controller. Your software talks to the controller, which is the AZT2316A under the Packard Bell sticker.

Good news: this card is hardware SoundBlaster Pro 2.0 compatible so does not need a DOS driver and it's non PnP so you don't even need an init program. The resources are set in an EEPROM on the card, so you do need a program to set those. It's CONFIG.EXE and can be found on driver disks for 3rd gen Aztech cards for Windows... Defaults will generally be A220 I5 D1 T4 P330, so you only need the program if those don't work for you. If you're happy with that, just tell your games that there's an SBPro2.0 at those locations and it should just work.

(note that if you are using this in a PnP system you do need to reserve those resources in BIOS for legacy/non-PnP devices)

Btw Aztech card marketing names are all over the place, with multiple names per card and sometimes the same name for very different cards; the FCC ID is how to uniquely identify them. This is the MMSN824, which IMHO is one of the best trouble-free sound cards out there for general DOS use. There are a couple of sites with an attempted overview of marketing names vs cards. Here's one: https://blog.purplepa.ws/aztech-sound-cards/ If you really want to call this something other than MMSN824, call it Sound Galaxy Washington 16.

T4, not T5.

T5 is for Sound Blaster Pro MCV.

Ok on the Aztech website archive there is no fcc id for the 824 or 830 or 837 (were all OEM for P.Bell). http://web.archive.org/web/20020802133159/htt … rivers_main.htm
There are similar cards with diff fcc id that have same chips, like the Sound Galaxy Pro16 II series. See: http://web.archive.org/web/20040205094905/htt … und_pro16ll.htm
I have the 830 PB card (AZT-2316 main chip) and had some issues trying to find the proper drivers also, it has same chips as your (plus one other cdrom interface).
Other thing to keep in mind is it has a eeprom that has default setting but can be altered, there is also a eeprom.sys file that can be loaded instead. The eeprom is what they call the ex2 chip which is U11 (the x24c00p).
"Jumper (JMPCFG) Settings (Note: Use 1&2 only when UX2 Chip is Present). Jumper JMPCFG Settings
Pins 1 - 2 close Hardware Settings Based on Values in the EEPROM.
Pins 2 - 3 close Hardware Setttings Values Based on the Software. (Default). "

Suggest you try this driver file, it worked for me as long as you have the jumpers set correct. It does have the config.exe inside the utility.azt file.
It has been a few years (2019 to be exact) since I set it up but you should be able to get it to work IF the sound card does work.
One other issue: yours is the "cheap" version w/o the audio amp so you will need amplifed speakers. The 830 has built in amp so any speakers work.
Also I made a mistake earlier, the Reveal SC400 Rev4r is the one with AZT2316 and CS4231, R3 has AZT1605.
aded: if all else fails try the Sound Galaxy Waverider 32 drivers (not Sound Galaxy Waverider 32 Pro drivers, diff chips)

What do you mean "drivers"? Again, this card is hardware compatible with SBPro 2.0 so does not need drivers under DOS. CONFIG.EXE is a configuration tool, not a driver.

Are you sure you're talking native DOS here? What happens when you try to run a game with it?

If you need to set resources, try these files: download/file.php?id=41084

Thanks everyone for your input. Hopefully I'll be able to figure this out. Unfortunately I have to wait until Sunday. Got construction going on in my house.

Found the original P.Bell Sound16A floppies (at archive org), that is the I38-MMSM837 which is near identical to the 824.
Here is a zip of the installed dos part including the config.exe in case the other do not work. Installed without my audio card but extracted ok.
Did note that the install tried to set for IRQ7 not IRQ5, according to what was added to my autoexec.bat....
