I have this PMD-5500 laptop with this sound card that has a CS4231A-KL with OPL3 YMF-262M and with the current configuration and the DOS driver, the floppy drive goes south when restarting the machine until I shut off the laptop and turn it back, whether running Windows 95 or DOS mode.
In any event, there's a DIP switch set as follows:
SW1/1: On
SW1/2-SW1/3: Off
SW1/4: On
Does anyone have any documentation on how to set the IRQ for the SB to 5 and MIDI to 2/9? The current configuration with the driver running in DOS makes the floppy drive not get detected after restarting the system either by selecting restart in Windows 95 or CTRL-ALT-DEL in DOS mode.
The manual doesn't specify what the switches do at all either. Unless that's for the cache for the CPU, but I digress. Would setting the IRQ and stuff be done in Windows 95 if the switch settings only controls the CPU and internal cache to be WB or WT?
