I found this graphics card in a box of electronics junk at an industrial warehouse that does auctions and also direct sales of secondhand goods to the public. It was very dirty and seemed to have a lot of corrosion as well as a bent bracket. The condition seemed very poor and I didn't have much hope for it.

I washed it using a paint brush, dish soap and water after which I used a blower to dry it off.

I used a brush to soak the corroded areas with a descaling solution which cleaned most of the corrosion all around the main chip and the memory as well as some of the other smd components. I then washed the card with IPA and dried it again with the blower.

Some time later, I tested the card and got a fuzzy image.
Closer inspection under a microscope revealed a broken trace on the rear of the card that I had to patch and after that, I tested the card again and found that it is working.

This is the only VLB card that I own. (I also found the 486 VLB board that this card belonged to with a Cyrix DX2 66. Also washed and cleaned and tested to be working)

Is there anything special or interesting about the card or is it just a boring VLB display card?
