Hi Guys,

I have an interesting issue at hand. I have a Zida TX98 board that does work, but some games and demos (e.g. DOOM, Gods) would freeze _provided_ I have an MMX CPU in there. Doom hangs during init, usually at setting up the HUD. Wolfstein 3D runs without issues.

I have tested the exact same CPU (a P233MMX), RAM, video card and CF Card interface in another TX98-3D and everything worked fine.
I have tested two other P233MMX CPUs and a P166MMX in the TX98, all exibit the same behavior.
I have tested it with a K5-100 and a P133, and to my surprise, both worked fine. It's only with the MMX CPUs that it has this issue.
I have also upgraded the BIOS to the latest 1.16, no change.

I have found two damaged traces on the back of the board, but there's continuity, so I don't think those are the cause of the problem.
No visible damage or bulging caps.

Do you guys have any idea what it can be?
