I installed on a Pentium 3 dual CPU System Windows NT4.0 SP6. I choose this OS because i want dual CPU support and still need DOS for some tools.
So install went good so far. Installed the latest SP6a, IE 5.5 with SP2 and some USB driver.
Its my first time using NT4.0 so i maybe miss something.
I had a development board PCI that works fine on other OSs. On NT soon i installed the driver for it i got this bluescreen on system boot.
Without installing the drivers i can run system with the board installed. And when i remove the board system starts normal. So im pretty sure that here is some kind of conflict.
Since NT4.0 dont have a device manager, it pretty hard to say whats going on.
For tests i removed all other boards, only GPU and this board, same result. Also switching PCI port, or bios changes dont work.
I read something about NT has a "kernel isolation feature" ?
Any NT4.0 gurus here that can help? Any ideas?
