I'm using an ASUS P5MV3 Socket 4 motherboard with an Adaptec SC200 SCSI controller (early 94 setup), and several games conflict with the controller’s shadow ROM. For example, Mortal Kombat crashes when saving settings, and Strike Commander won't start in real mode, only in protected mode. I tried a newer BIOS version for the motherboard, but the issue remains the same. With an IDE controller, everything works fine. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
