There's plenty of Win9x 3D games that offer 400x300 -640x400 resolutions, sometimes supporting flexible custom output, but are there any notable 2d/pixelbased games other than Jazz Jackrabbit 2 that this applies to?

There are some low-res indie games that come to mind.
I'm not exactly sure which resolution they used, but it's below 640x480 I think.

- Guardian of Paradise
- Azarashi
- Cave Story
- HoldOver (Foxeye)
- Dokkaebi ga Ganda
- Fushigina Mori no Pokora
- Sonic Velocity

I think Commandos could output 512x384.
Oh yeah, Commandos allows switching from 512x384 to 1024x768. I'm assuming it would look pretty bad, more like an option for zooming in or something like that.
As for the Indie games, seems they're usually more in the 320x240 range. I didn't know some of those mentioned, they're interesting nevertheless.
I suppose some of the early Maxis Windows 16-Bit stuff could be coaxed to lower than 640x480 via custom resolutions, I've had limited success with that under 9x with my hardware and Powerstrip though. Much easier with XP.
