while getting to use a Colorado Trekker 350, i want to look towards a usable Higher Capacity tape drive rather than something like a Jazz Drive for n older XETA Branded Pentium III PC that's running Windows 98 i could use as a Backup solution.

the Colorado drive is perfect for a 486, but not at the Capacities i'd need.

Tape drives are something i want to get into but i got little to no Experience with, so i have no idea what i could start looking at.

There were some larger capacity QIC drives, I remember having a Iomega Ditto that was around 2GB - old tapes will likely have perished drive bands though, it could use TR-3 or other QIC-3020 tapes and was in parallel port or floppy controller format, optional 2Mbit Ditto Dash controller for better performance. It was in my 98 system, not supported by XP
