could not get that load at all, all I get is some java errors, probably related to x86/x64 or something

I have both latest X86 and X64 java runtimes installed in my win10/x64 system

I had the exact same problem and messaged the author a while back. It's a dll library they bundled with their package that expects 32-bit instead of 64-bit Java. The fix is super easy. Get the SDK package from Epiphan: https://www.epiphan.com/downloads/products/vg … _jni-3.27.1.zip and replace the file named v2ujni.dll in the tool's folder with the one from the downloaded zip inside the folder named 64-bit, and it should work.

Alternatively, I've just used the 32-bit Java Runtime. I'm using the version 17 of the JRE from Eclipse (JRE is enough, you don't need JDK).
